A tired gold Sting Ray brought back to a mirror-deep respray.
This split-window-era Sting Ray came to us straight and solid, with good chrome and a clean tan interior — but the original gold paint had gone flat and tired, worn down by decades of sun.
Rather than change what made the car special, we stripped it to bare fiberglass, blocked every panel true, and laid the same gold back down with the depth it deserved — sealed in a dark basecoat first for extra richness, then a fresh metallic gold and a full color-sand-and-buff. Two months later it left the shop with a mirror finish and the personality it always had.
