Marv's Scout came to us dirty, faded, and moss-streaked, but sound — a truck that needed real attention, not a total teardown-and-swap. So where we went full restomod on the last Scout through the shop, this one got a proper restoration: the original engine came out, got rebuilt, and went back in, rather than being pulled for something modern.
Everything else got the same honest treatment. The body was stripped, straightened, and resprayed in a warm champagne with its factory two-tone roof, running on the original-style steel wheels instead of anything flashier. Inside, new upholstery front and rear, a cleaned-up dash, and updated gauges bring the cabin up to daily-driver standard without losing the period-correct feel. Eighteen months later, it's the truck it was always supposed to be.
